  Hunt Partner appoints Ajith Babu as the CEO at Nitco Tiles

Ajith Babu is a seasoned professional with 30 years of experience. He has worked across companies ranging from MNCs like Unilever to Colgate Palmolive and Emami. In his last stint with Emami Healthcare as the CEO he was managing the overall P&L of the business and worked closely with the promoter family and BOD. Apart from work, Ajith is passionate about fitness and invests in the Indian stock market. 

NITCO is India’s leading premium tile brand. It was established in Bombay in 1953 and is today one of the largest manufacturers of floor tiles in India. It has a volume market share of around 6% and a value market share of around 10% among organized players. It has a pan-India presence with 22 offices across the country. Its strong distribution network comprises more than 1100 direct dealers. The Company also exports tiles to other countries. The promoters own 48.90% of the Company’s equity.
